Dear Willard Families,  

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

It is my great pleasure to welcome you back to Willard Elementary School for the 2019-2020 school year.  I am extremely proud to be the Principal of Willard Elementary School!  This past year, I have been so impressed with the dedication of all of those, inside and outside the classroom, who  work with our students each and every day. We have some of the most amazing, dedicated educators and staff here at Willard!

This year is going to be another great year of growth and learning.  Our goal at Willard is to ensure that your students receive the highest quality education.  We strive to help your students become well-rounded leaders of the 21st century.  With that in mind, we provide multiple avenues to reach this goal.  Our students lead through our "Leader in Me" program and have numerous opportunities to lead in their classroom and throughout the school.  We also support our students to make wise choices and decisions through “PBIS” strategies.   In addition, we are proud to continue implementing our VAPA program for arts and music. 

We have a wonderful PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) that is ready to support the teachers and students, provide some fun activities and make this a great school year.  If you want to join the PTO, we have the membership information in the office.  Also, we will meet monthly on the first Wednesday of each month via zoom and encourage all of you to join our meetings.  

In addition, look out for our quarterly “Coffee with the Principal” gatherings.  We’ll share what is happening at our school and what we are focusing on.   

If there is anything I can do to help you or your student(s) please let me know. Thank you for all you do to support your child’s education.  I want to partner with you, the Willard parents! Our shared commitment to our student’s academic growth will ultimately lead to success!
