Posted Date: 10/16/26 (04:09 PM)

Dear Parents:

Willard will be having a character parade on Friday, October 30th at 8:30 am. We encourage our students to come dressed as their favorite character.

For the Character Costume Parade, students MAY NOT bring the following items to school:

- NO Toy swords, toy guns, crowns, wands, or other props.

- NO Masks

- NO Fake blood, no horror

- NO Clown costumes

PTO will award prizes for (1) Best Costume and (2) Most Creative Costume per classroom. There will be one grand prize for the best costume overall in the school.

We will begin the morning with a parade by walking around the block and then return to campus for the contest.

For students who cannot participate in the parade or contest, there will be an option of playing board games in a separate classroom. Students can remain in costume throughout the day, however, please note that costumes can get ripped or damaged during play. Parents who are concerned, may remain to collect their student’s costume.
