Welcome to Willard Elementary!

 

It is my pleasure to welcome you and your students to the 2025-26 school year! It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Frances Willard Elementary School. My name is Rosette Holmes, and I bring with me 28 years of experience in education, including 13 years as a school administrator. I am honored to join a school community that is known for its commitment to academic excellence, strong values, and a deep sense of community.

 

At Willard, we believe that every child deserves a high-quality education in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Our school is a vibrant, multicultural community where diversity is not only respected—it is celebrated. We know that our differences make us stronger, and we are committed to fostering a culture where every student, family, and staff member feels seen, heard, and valued.

 

Together, we will continue to build on Willard’s tradition of high achievement by creating opportunities for all students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to partnering with you as we work to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.

The theme for Frances Willard Elementary for the 2025-26 school year is "Willard is the BEST SCHOOL EVER!"  Inspired by the Disney movie Tangled, our theme this year is all about dreaming big, shining bright, and lighting the way for one another.

 

Just like Rapunzel’s lanterns lighting up the sky, we believe every student has a light within them waiting to shine. At Willard, we are committed to helping our students live their dreams in a supportive, inclusive, and joyful learning environment.
